Exhibition “Conglomerates” by the artist Sasho Ackovski at KD Koco Racin Skopje

The exhibition “Conglomerates” by the artist Sasho Ackovski presents 15 works created in acrylic on canvas, enhanced with glued (collaged) electronic parts. As the title suggests, the works feature an organized concentration of elements that differ in nature: on one hand, abstract motifs created by human hands, and on the other, electronic parts crafted by machines. Through this combination, the artist reflects on contemporary society.

Despite their opposing origins, these elements intertwine to form a mutual synergy—creating a new whole, a new reality. However, when the balance between these opposites is disrupted, chaos arises in this new reality.

The goal of this exhibition is to encourage viewers to reflect on the balanced and controlled use of technology and techniques in daily life. The message is to use technology only as a tool for better functioning and survival in society, thus enabling a return to real social interactions and communication.

Sasho Ackovski was born on July 15, 1972, in Skopje. He graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of “St. Cyril and Methodius” in Skopje in 2012, specializing in Conservation and Restoration under Professor Blagoja Manevski. Prior to that, he studied under Professors Velo Tashovski and Sveto Manev. Ackovski has participated in over 100 group exhibitions both in Macedonia and internationally. This is his fifth solo exhibition.
