🎭 Doctor Aybolit – Ballet for Children 🎭 at National Opera and Ballet

Join us for a magical performance of Doctor Aybolit, a ballet for children based on the beloved tale by K. Chukovsky, featuring stunning choreography by Miahil Krapivin (Russia) and music by Igor Morozov. With an enchanting set design by Zhivojin Trajanovikj and costume design by Marija Pupuchevska, this production will delight audiences of all ages!

Synopsis:

Act One
On the seashore, Doctor Aybolit treats sick animals and birds, with the help of the children Tanya and Vanya. However, his bad sister Varvara and the cruel trainer Kapitoni try to cause harm to the animals. After a dramatic series of events, Doctor Aybolit decides to travel to distant tropical regions to save sick monkeys. Tanya and Vanya secretly hide on the doctor’s ship, embarking on an exciting journey.

Act Two
The children, the doctor, and their animal friends face danger when they are captured by the villainous robbers led by Barmaley. With the help of clever tricks and bravery, they escape and return home. Doctor Aybolit and his friends triumph, bringing peace and happiness to the animals, while Varvara and Kapitoni are finally chased away.
