The play “Land of Storks” addresses the painful consequences of mass emigration of young people from Macedonia, raising serious questions about happiness, inertia, and the choice to leave one’s homeland.
Is leaving the solution, or a lifetime of pain? This is the final cry from the stage, attempting to wake us from our lethargy and push us to reflect on our future.
The play is based on the text “The Warmth in November” by Jana Dobreva, directed by Robert Ristov.
