We invite you to the Concert – Recital of the young cellist Enis Ali accompanied by pianist Anastasia Grgovska. This concert will offer a wide range of sounds, starting from the Baroque to the end of the 20th century.
The selected program shows the development of the cello as an instrument, both technically and musically.

Enis Ali is one of the most active and best young cellists in the country. He completed his musical education in Tirana, Albania under the guidance of renowned cellists Astrit Selita and Dorina Larro. He has made numerous leading appearances with chamber orchestras and symphony orchestras in North Macedonia and beyond, such as “Young Musicians European Orchestra” (Italy), “Skanderbeg Chamber Orchestra” (Albania), “Saša Nikolovski-GjumarMMM” (Macedonia), “Arko” (Macedonia), “Western Balkan Youth Orchestra”. He also performs as a guest tutist with the orchestras of national institutions in North Macedonia and Albania, such as: NU Philharmonic, National Opera and Ballet, Albanian Radio Orchestra, Tirana Opera and Ballet Orchestra, etc. Active in his solo and chamber music, he performs with domestic and foreign performers from the music sphere. In 2024, he made a solo appearance at the renowned festivals “Ohrid Summer” and “Skopje Summer” accompanied by the “Saša Nikolovski-Gjumar” orchestra under the baton of Ivan Eminović. As a soloist and part of chamber ensembles and orchestras, she has also performed abroad: in Albania, Serbia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Bulgaria, France and Belgium. Anastasia Grgovska is one of the most active pianists in Macedonia. She has won numerous awards and recognitions at national and international competitions. She has performed numerous solo concerts in Kumanovo, Skopje, Veles, Prokuplje, concerts with chamber ensembles and performances at renowned festivals such as “Ohrid Summer”, “Skopje Summer”, “Days of Macedonian Music” and “Autumn Music Festivities”. She performs as a soloist with the Chamber Orchestra of the City of Pernik, in Bulgaria and with the Macedonian Philharmonic in Skopje. She is a laureate of the “Tomislav Zografski” Foundation in 2014, and is also the winner of the Grand Prix for 2021, which is awarded by the Board of the Foundation. In August 2024, as a piano duo with pianist Shkelzen Baftiari, he performed at the “Ohrid Summer” festival, marking the anniversaries of the Macedonian composers T. Zografski and S. Toshevski. He continued his studies at seminars with famous world names from the classical music scene such as H. Holtmann – Germany, J. Kot – Ukraine, N. Trull – Russia, A. Diev – Russia, Zh. Zaharieva – Bulgaria, A. Gindin – Russia, F. Turisini – Italy, G. Gruzman – Germany, L. Gašparović – Croatia. He graduated from the Faculty of Music in Skopje, and received his master’s degree, with the highest grade, from the Russian Academy of Music “Gnesin” in Moscow, in the class of Prof. Yulia V. Fyodorova.
