The city of Skopje concluded a Memorandum with the Academy for Cultural Diplomacy from Berlin

Mayor Danela Arsovska and the director of the Academy for Cultural Diplomacy from Berlin, Mark Donfried, signed a Memorandum today with the aim of continuing cooperation after the organization of the Forum for Cultural Diplomacy, which is held in Skopje, in which former presidents of states, ministers, representatives from The European Parliament, diplomats and academics.

– Within the framework of the Skopje European Capital of Culture 2028 candidacy, it is a special honor for us that Skopje is the host of the renowned International Forum for Cultural Diplomacy 2023, as another excellent opportunity to affirm the potential of our city, whose rich cultural and historical heritage will over 50 prominent international delegates and diplomats are enjoying it – said Arsovska.

The signing was also attended by Carl Eric Norman, Secretary General of the European Cultural Parliament, Hassan Diab, former Prime Minister of Lebanon, and Uli Bruckner, a professor at Stanford University, which opens up new opportunities for mutual cooperation, exchange of knowledge and projects with a focus on diplomacy, education and culture.
