Poetry Evening with the Prize Winners of the “Antevo Pero” Manifestation

Within the framework of the City of Skopje as the Capital of Culture 2028, the Cultural Information Center – Skopje and the Association for the Preservation of the Work of Ante Popovski have the special honor and pleasure of inviting you to a Poetry Evening with the prize winners of the “ANTEVO PERO” Manifestation on November 27 at 19:00, at Salon Imperial 2.

The beauty and originality of this event lie in the fact that previous winners of the “Antevo Pen”, “Antevo Gold Coin”, and “Antevo Clock” awards will gather in one place and present excerpts from their poetry. These traditional awards were given to them following contests for unpublished collections of poetry in the Macedonian language, which took place during the seven previous editions of the “International Poetic-Cultural Manifestation ‘Ante Popovski – Antevo Pero'”.

Poetry lovers will have a rare opportunity to hear quality poetic compositions that reflect modern trends in Macedonian poetry, inspired by the name and work of our great poet, Ante Popovski.

Professors Tatjana Aleksic and Mitra Mimi Spasova, M.Sc., will host and guide the program. They will interpret individual excerpts from the work of Ante Popovski and other poets. Visitors will also have the opportunity to watch video materials featuring the original voice of Ante Popovski.
