Networking between international and local cultural actors and talks about the local cultural scene

Networking and getting acquainted with the work of local cultural institutions, organizations and cultural professionals, as part of the international collaboration

On August 31, the participants of the European Diploma, together with the mentoring team followed the “Kitsch tour” that presents the narrative and reality of the project Skopje 2014, led by Ivana Dragsic (Freedom Square). Immediately afterwards in the patio of the Museum of the City of Skopje at the networking meeting they met with several representatives of the local cultural context. They got acquainted with the work of Simona Dimkovska, architect and actress, part of the organization Cultural Echo; visual artists Sasho and Pandora Sazdovski; Gjorgje Jovanovikj, as a freelance artist and part of KSP Centar Jadro; Simona Spirovska, actress and part of the organization for theatre and performers Artopia; Filip Jovanovski, artist and Ivana Vaseva, curator, both part of the organization Faculty for things that are not be learned and curators and organizers of the AKTO Festival of Contemporary Art; Velimir Zernovski, freelance artist; Petrula Veljanovski, part of the MakeDox team – Documentary Film Festival and Zorica Zafirovska – independent artist and part of the Lokomotiva team.

On September 1 in the program segment MiniAudits, the participants of the European Diploma, divided into three groups had the opportunity to get acquainted in detail with the work of the Youth Cultural Center, represented by Margarita Arsovska; the iniititiave Kino Kultura – Center for Contemporary Art, Culture and Politics, presented by Biljana Tanurovska Kulavkovski (Lokomotiva Skopje); and the organization LOJA Center for Balkan Cooperation from Tetovo, presented by Bujar Ljuma.
