MOT (Youth Open Theatre-YOT) at MKC Skopje

MKC announces the 49th edition of the Young Open Theatre – MOT, from November 15 to 21, featuring theatrical events, performances, and workshops, all realized with strong support from the MOT network, which has been passionately built over the past decades.

This edition of the festival opens with last year’s winners, the independent production, the “Zlaten Elets” theatre, and their performance “Hinkeman,” based on the play by Ernst Toller, directed by Tamara Stojanoska. Although they stand as an independent theatre on the repertory, their regional awards have earned them a place on the MOT stage, and the curtain will rise with their new premiere. The anti-war theme present in their performance also sets the tone for this year’s MOT.
