The Mayor of Skopje, Danela Arsovska, and the Mayor of the City of Rome, Roberto Gualtieri, today signed a Memorandum for the establishment of cooperation, friendly relations, joint activities, and exchange of experiences in the fields of culture and the environment, as well as for finding solutions to socio-economic challenges.
With the Memorandum, Skopje, and Rome will support and encourage reciprocal support for initiatives aimed at cooperation and development in the fields of urbanism, urban regeneration, environmental protection, and culture and for initiatives aimed at cooperation and development in the fields of inclusion and innovation.
At today’s meeting, Mayor Arsovska introduced Mayor Gualtieri to the activities of the City of Skopje within the framework of Skopje’s candidacy for the prestigious title of European Capital of Culture and emphasized Skopje’s support for Rome’s candidacy for Expo 2023.
