The mayor of the City of Skopje, Danela Arsovska, on the occasion of the great success, the winning of the European Championship in basketball for secondary schools, at a reception organized in honor of the young basketball players from the secondary school of the City of Skopje “Nikola Karev”, presented them with monetary prizes and congratulated them on the great success.
The European High School Basketball Championship was held from June 11 to 16, 2023, and more than 200 high school students took part in the same event. The team of the secondary school of the City of Skopje “Nikola Karev” defeated the team from the Czech Republic in the final, winning a gold medal and the title of European champion in basketball for secondary schools for 2023.
