Launch of the Digitalization of Ante Popovski’s Work at Library “Braka Miladinovci” -Skopje

On November 15, a significant event took place with the launch of the digitalization of the works of one of the greatest creators and public figures of 20th and 21st century Macedonia – Ante Popovski. This historic moment not only reaffirms his immense contribution to the development of Macedonian culture and literature but also ensures the lasting preservation of his legacy for future generations.

Ante Popovski, a writer, publicist, and one of the most prominent intellectuals of our time, left an indelible mark on the history of Macedonia. His works, ranging from prose and poetry to public texts and essays, form the foundation of the Macedonian cultural and social scene. Through the digitalization of his work, these texts are now easily accessible to a broader audience, while also safeguarding his legacy.

This initiative allows anyone interested to engage with the rich cultural heritage of Popovski, while his mission to enrich public discourse and critical thought remains ever-present in contemporary society. Digitalization makes his legacy globally accessible, marking an important step in preserving his place in Macedonian cultural memory.

Thanks to everyone who supported this project and made it possible! May Ante Popovski continue to inspire new generations of readers, writers, and activists!
