In celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Macedonian National Theater (MNT), an event honoring the legendary actor Kiril Psaltirov will be held tomorrow at noon in the MNT lobby. Psaltirov, who was an integral part of the MNT ensemble from 1974 until his retirement, left a lasting impact on Macedonian theater with his remarkable charisma and exceptional skill.
Born on October 11, 1941, in Kočani, and passing away on May 8, 2021, in Skopje, Kiril Psaltirov was a renowned Macedonian theater, film, and television actor. He graduated from the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Skopje in 1973, alongside other distinguished actors such as Gjorgji Kolozov, Snezana Kiselicka, Goce Vlahov, Petre Arsovski, Majda Tušar, and Sonja Karandžulovska.
Psaltirov’s extraordinary career spanned various performances in theater productions and films, and his contributions continue to be remembered and celebrated by the MNT and theater lovers alike. Join us in honoring his legacy tomorrow at the MNT.
