📚 Book Launch: “Feminist Theory of Violence: Towards an Anti-Racist Protection Policy” by Françoise Vergès at KSP Centar Jadro📚

Tonight, December 26th at 19:30, join us at KSP Centar Jadro for the launch of the first book in the Tiiiit! Inc. publication series, part of the Vagina Dentata edition. The book, titled “Feminist Theory of Violence: Towards an Anti-Racist Protection Policy”, is written by renowned French political scientist and historian Françoise Vergès.

The evening will feature a conversation with translator Darko Leitner Stojanov, editor Viki Mladenova, series editor Jana Kocevska, and Alexandra Perišić, professor at the Faculty of Media and Communications in Belgrade (FMK).

Darko Leitner Stojanov, a historian at the International Research Center for Cultural Studies (IFK) in Vienna, specializes in migration history and translating works from French to Macedonian. His recent translation, in collaboration with Petar Todorov, is Michel Foucault’s “Security, Territory, Population”.

Alexandra Perišić, a professor at FMK, holds a degree in Comparative Literature and Mathematics from Columbia University and a PhD in Comparative Literature. She has taught at the University of Miami and focuses on global economics and cultural studies.

Viki Mladenova, a researcher at the University of Bologna, specializes in political philosophy, critical legal studies, and migration. Her academic journey includes studies in Skopje, Piza, and Naples, and she has worked extensively with refugee legal rights.

Join us for this important discussion about feminist theory, violence, and the politics of protection, as we explore these crucial topics with experts in the field.
