World and Macedonian Premiere of the Symphonic Suite “Itar Pejo” by Filip Ivanov

Join us for a special concert featuring the first symphonic suite by Macedonian composer Filip Ivanov, inspired by the beloved character from Macedonian folklore, Itar Pejo. Known for his cunning and resourcefulness, Itar Pejo outwits the rich and overcomes life’s challenges with wit and intelligence. This engaging composition is divided into seven parts, each telling a different aspect of Pejo’s adventures.

  • “Melancholy of the Missing Coin”
  • “The Jokes of Itar Pejo”

This delightful symphonic suite is the first of its kind by a Macedonian composer, making it an unforgettable experience for children and young people.

Note: The composition was awarded through the National Philharmonic’s competition for works by Macedonian composers intended for symphony orchestra.
