About the Book:

“Milcho for Manchevski”, curated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Atanas Čuposki, offers a deep dive into the life and work of Milcho Manchevski, from his early years in Skopje to his rise as an internationally acclaimed filmmaker. The book explores his journey, from his passion for theater and film to his studies in the U.S., his film career, and his work as a professor in New York. It also includes an analysis of his production methods, directorial vision, and the successes and challenges he faced with his films.

The book is complemented by a detailed exploration of Manchevski’s impact on Macedonian cinema and his collaborations with actors, producers, and other creative talents.
