📅 Exhibition: “100 Years Since the Birth of Risto Lozanoski” at Daud Pasha Amam

Рetrospective exhibition dedicated to one of the pioneers of Macedonian contemporary art, Risto Lozanoski (1923-1965), opening this Saturday, December 28, at 19:00 at the Daud Pasha Amam in Skopje.

Risto Lozanoski, a renowned artist who left a significant mark on the art scene despite his short life, will be celebrated for his diverse and impactful work. The exhibition is curated by Maija Čankulovska-Mihajlovska, Senior Curator, and Maija Nedelkoska-Brzanova, Curator-Advisor at the National Gallery of Macedonia.

The exhibition, as part of the National Gallery’s ongoing mission to preserve our cultural heritage, will showcase Lozanoski’s creations that span various themes, from portraits and landscapes to historical and ethnological subjects, and more.

Despite his untimely passing at just 42 years old, Lozanoski’s influence remains profound. His work continues to inspire both art historians and critics, who acknowledge his contributions to modern Macedonian art.

Don’t miss the opportunity to explore Lozanoski’s artistic journey and rediscover his legacy.
