On November 25, 2024, at 7:30 PM, the Skopje City Museum will host the opening event of the “16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence” campaign. This interactive evening will feature a series of discussions, screenings of short videos and documentaries, and the impactful exhibition “Scars of Resilience, Voices of Hope” by Martina Spasovska. The exhibition aims to amplify the message that violence against women and girls is never justified.
The campaign, which is celebrated globally, is supported by the United Nations family of agencies in partnership with the European Union Delegation to North Macedonia, the OSCE Mission in Skopje, USAID, and other key organizations. The goal of this initiative is to raise public awareness about gender-based violence and to advance efforts to prevent it, both locally and globally.
